Boys Brigade host Community Hymn Singing in grand style

Community hymn singing is a tradition very popular among the orthodox (Catholic, Anglican, Methodist etc) churches . It is a small service where all that is done is the singing of beautiful old traditional hymns which have awesome melodic tunes and heart touching messages. This post is about one of such services.

That said, it is logical to ask: what made this particular one special or any different from a conventional CHS service? I'll tell you. This one was hosted by the Boys Brigade of All Saints' Anglican Church, Yaba. So, instead of having people just come listen and sing to awesome melodic tunes, it also had a fraction of the Brigade Orchestra in attendance.

With this, the ambiance of the whole service was delightful. Singing to already beautiful tunes got even more interesting. Worthy of note also is the fact that some patrons and officers of the Boys Brigade attended in their elegant uniforms. As you expect, we caught a glimpse of some of these beauties...

Richard Agbash: Model extraordinaire

This shoot and the post was inspired by PHCN (NEPA). Sounds funny right? But yes, it was. Hang on a little, you'll understand why I say so.

We were on holiday so i decided to hook up with my friend, Richard. As usual, we got down to some FIFA 13 things. After whooping him over and again, NEPA did what they know how to do best; interrupt power supply!

In no time, the atmosphere changed and everywhere got so boring. The heat ehn, chai! Immediately, the idea popped; why don't we do what we know how o do best?

Richard is an A list model, working previously with the likes of The Wedding Company, Orange Culture, Sheria Ngowi (Tanzania), Hakeem Salam, Jide Alakija, Jide Odukoya, Ellisoft, Bella Naija; in fact, his list is endless. Me on the other hand, photographer toh bahd...

We decided to play at both ends of the camera; have an outdoor shoot. Already, it was an idyllic setting for such artistic display. All that was needed is all that was added. Here are some pictures from some of the sessions...
